Benefits of Meditation
Besides providing relaxation, meditation offers many benefits to one’s well-being, health and life.

Some of the things you can do while in this meditation is clean out specific energies, old beliefs, people, work and even create what you want in life. This empowers you to have the life you want instead of being at the mercy of someone or something else.
Have you ever gone shopping and bought a bunch of items and when you got home, you wondered why you bought those things? If this has happened to you, most likely you had a lot of different energies in your space! This example is just for shopping. Imagine applying this idea to your life! Career, relationships, health, home, and many other areas are impacted by having foreign energy in your space.
By cleaning out foreign energy (energy that is not yours), you are able to have more of yourself and the things you want! Therefore, doing the things you want to do as opposed to possibly doing what someone else would want.
If you are in the healing arts industry, you may notice that you pick up your client’s energy (either unconsciously or consciously) and are just used to doing that as part of a form of healing. However, in my opinion this is a quick road to burnout. Being a massage therapist, I know first hand about healing my clients by taking on their stuff and I also hear about it from other therapists and student massage therapists. Energy that is not for your highest good that is left in the body will manifest physically in some way. These manifestations can present as stress, headaches, body aches and pain, disease and many other dysfunctions. Healing yourself is one of the best things you can do for yourself. So I invite you to start (or continue) healing yourself!
